For many patients in Charlotte, access to healthcare depends on more than just scheduling an appointment, it depends on having safe, reliable transportation, especially for procedures involving sedation or anesthesia. That’s where ZAKTRA becomes essential.

In Southwest Charlotte, ZAKTRA provides healthcare companion services designed specifically for ambulatory surgeries, outpatient procedures, and sedated medical visits, helping patients travel safely and confidently from start to finish.

Why Transportation Matters for Ambulatory & Sedation Procedures

Procedures such as colonoscopies, endoscopies, cataract surgery, dental sedation, and outpatient surgeries often require anesthesia or sedatives. After these procedures:

Patients are not legally or medically allowed to drive
Facilities often require a responsible adult escort
Rideshare services are frequently not accepted
Patients may feel disoriented, fatigued, or unstable

Without proper an adult escort and reliable transportation, necessary procedures may be delayed or cancelled altogether.

ZAKTRA fills this critical gap by offering professional, non-emergency medical transportation in clean, comfortable SUVs, ideal for ambulatory patients who value privacy, dignity, and reliability.

Services Include:

✔Ambulatory Transportation — for patients who walk independently or need light assistance
✔Wait & Return Service — we stay during your procedure and return you home safely
✔Healthcare Companion Services — meeting discharge requirements when a responsible escort is required
✔Outpatient Surgery & Sedation Transport
✔Hospital & Surgery Center Discharge Assistance

Unlike traditional rides or rideshare options, ZAKTRA provides continuity of care, ensuring patients are supported before, during, and after their appointment.

ZAKTRA Services Are Perfect For
